Tandy,  This has probably been covered, but just in case, I will say again.  The
NFB convention in New Orleans is opened to everyone.  The only meeting which is
closed is the meeting of the Nominations Committee.  Everything is opened.
Registration is $5 and proof of registration will have to be shown at the time
of checkout to qualify for the inexpensive hotel rates, which start at $28  per
day for a single room.
The pre-convention stuff starts on Sunday the 30th of June.  There is a Braille
'nm Speak seminar Sunday morning, and Job opportunities for the Blind seminar in
after noon.  There is also a meeting for parents of blind children that day.
Registration and exhibits open on Monday and there are a variety of meetings
that day.
Tuesday morning there is a board meeting, which is opened, and many divisions
and groups meet that afternoon.
The convention starts on Wednesday.
Thursday afternoon is free for tours etc.
The banquet is Friday night and the convention closes at 5:00 p.M. on Saturday.
That is about it.
We have booked over 1550 rooms so far so expect well over 3000 people.
