It is running on ISC 386/ix v2.2.1, and rrn seems to work perfect, so I am very pleased with it. Now for the hard part. I am in a strange situation. I have a machine which can talk to the "world", but has limited disk space, and I have a machine which because of company policy cannot talk to the world, but has a large disk and I can use to store news. I want this system heitis1 to talk to my feeds, and keep only a days worth on news, then have the other get an nntp feed, and store at least a week. I have looked through all the files which came with nntp and cnews, and can find no instructions on how to actually set up an nntp server with the cnews system. It seems as if both parties expected the other to tell me how to do it ;). Here come the questions: 1) Is anyone using NNTP and CNEWS now? 2) How? 3) Do I still need to use the frontend_inews, server_inews, and $NEWSBIN/nntp/inews files to get the darn things to work? 4) Will this still post with all the playing I have done today? Any help would be appreciated, brian
