People who have been reading this newsgroup for a while know of the
Vermont Raptor Center, Sam Conway's hangout.  Last week, while on
vacation, my wife and I finally got around to dropping by to see it.
It is definitely worth the trip!  If you're ever in the region, be
sure to stop by.  (If you're a bicyclist, it's just off one of the
rides in the Vermont Country Cycling book.)

Our visit was unfortunately rudely interrupted by a cloudburst, but we
will certainly be back again and again.

Sam, if you're still out there, sorry we missed you - maybe next year.
(PS: We're now brand new VINS members.)
