Yea, I tried my brother-in-law's .35 Remington Contender, 14" I believe.
It was quite brutal as I recall, after 3 shots I had enough and switched
over to his .44 Mag.  After shooting the .35 Rem. the .44 felt down-right
comfortable.

The Contender was quite accurate with the open sights however.
