I have a 5 year old CD player (one of the 'primative' ones :-) which
recently, as a result of being knocked around a bit, decided to stop
working.  It will load a disc fine, but when I hit play, it acts as if
no disc is loaded.  I suspect the problem has something to do with
the alignment (or misalignment in this case) of the laser head - 
Does anyone have any experience with fixing this sort of problem?  Is
it even worth looking into or should I be shopping around for a new player?
