A about 2 to 3 weeks ago someone posted this very question, but
from the postings I saw, only two chips from Microchip were identified, 
CTS256A-AL2 and SP0256A-AL2.  I called Microchip and found out
that they will not be fabricating these chips in the future.  I would
hate to start a design that uses these chips if in the future I won't be
able to get them.  So, does anybody know of any other chips that 
do a similar function ?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
