The Tbilisi's name was changed to "Admiral of the Fleet Kuznetsov".
It's sister ship was formerly named Riga and is now named "Varyag".

The official Soviet story is that the original names were chosen from
a list of `hero' cities from the Great Patriotic War and such. Now,
however, these cities are part of separatist republics. After
patriotic sailors complained, the names were changed.
