News(1) has now been supplemented with a couple of minor accessories,
newsgroups(1) [prints existing newsgroups] and send(1) [interactive
interface for sending news] (both written up in news(1)), plus versions
of comments(1), gripes(1), hacknews(1), and humour(1), all written up
in comments(1).  The user interface of the latter is not quite the same,
as there are no options;  sending is done via send(1) or news(1) itself.
With luck, comments et al may eventually become unnecessary as people who
are interested in such matters set up their news subscription lists
appropriately.
