ECC off again
Disk ECC repair has been turned off again, in the face of further
evidence that it cannot be trusted (a corrupted file that the C
compiler happened to object to).

>From evidence so far, the incorrect ECCs themselves seem to be
spurious (i.e. they are one-bit corrections that complement a bit
that was just fine the way it was).
