ttys stuff tests fine
The new ttys organization, and the shakeups in init, getty, and login
caused partly by it and partly by incorporation of local mods, have
been tested and they work.  Installation is pending.  Please note that
the ttyslot() routine in the current C library has been updated, but
/etc/ttys hasn't yet, so it is wise to avoid recompiling programs that
use ttyslot() or getlogin() until the inconsistency is resolved.
