replies problem
Suggestions are solicited as to the best way to handle replies to gripes
etc., where said replies are of general interest in the same way the
original message is of general interest.  Sending new gripe messages is
workable but it can be a bit hard to relate reply to original gripe.
Editing original gripe is clumsy (although it can be made less so) and
has the disadvantage that such changes do not show up as "new news" (this
may or may not be fixable).  Is there a third way that we haven't seen?
