As mentioned in the hacknews item about the change to .KE, it is possible
that some old documents will screw up because they contained unnoticed
unclosed .KE's that happened not to foul up the formatting.  In an
emergency, the error messages from .KE can be silenced by putting the
following two lines at the beginning of the text:

	.de Uk
	..

(That's lowercase d, lowercase e, uppercase U, lowercase k.)
This is for emergencies only;  if you need to use this, emphasize to the
user(s) in question that the RIGHT solution is to fix the previously-
unnoticed errors in .KE-.EK usage, and that we cannot guarantee that this
kludge will work forever.
