Installed a slightly revised version of lpr(1).  Aside from some internal
cleanup, it now takes a -c option for multiple copies (maximum 100), and
has hooks for the forthcoming lpcancel (which does what was once known as
"stoplpd").  One wart:  when doing multiple copies, you get multiple copies
of the header and trailer too (unless you use -b).  Fixing this is nontrivial
and will have to wait for some less-urgent mods to the daemon.
