introduction
Subject: introduction

My name is Andrew Koenig.  I'm somewhat new at this game, but
would like to start a new newsgroup, to talk about those aspects
of aviation in which we mere mortals can actually participate.
Thus: small airplanes, perhaps model aircraft, but not military
or airline operations (too expensive, at least for me).

There must be more of you out there.  For starters, how about if
you send me your name, location, ratings, type of aircraft usually
flown, and suchlike?  I'll compile what I get and broadcast it.
