physiol problems
The users in physiol seem to have a problem several times a week getting
their terminals to work.  They have two terminals, a VC404 and a Diablo,
but are only connected via one Gandalf line, which means they have to
disconnect one terminal to use the other.  A fairly simple procedure which
I have explained countless times.

***REMEDIES***

Occasionally, killing processes works.
Each time I have been contacted (about 7 times), there seems to be a
different reason for the terminals not working:  today it was their
Gandalf cable being slightly out of wack.  The only thing I can suggest
is PATIENCE:  check stty, cables, and all of the other usual remedies.
I hope someone else gets stuck with this once in awhile...
