Well, it's here, and I thank all of you who showed interest in begining
this newsgroup.  As an intitial note (and maybe to get the ball rolling),
I went up to Killington (Vt) this past Wed, Nov 11.  Skiing was great.
Temps in the 20's, flurries most of the day.  Skiing was limited to the
upper mountain, but expansion by the weekend is expected.  The snow varied
from crusty to slightly heavy, but the moguls were great!  (and I might add,
got better as the day progressed).  Other areas in Vermont and I think
New Hampshire as slated to open before the Thanksgiving holidays.  Fall skiiing
is here and I hope you all can get a chance to get out soon.
