Taken from 6 November 1981 "HR Reports"
Space shuttle communications during its second trip that begins this week
will again be audible to those with proper receiving capability.  Operating
frequencies in S band will be 2287.5 MHz primary,
2217.5 secondary, with FM data and TV on 2250 and 2205.
Principal frequency in the VHF band will be 296.8 with 259.7 and world-wide
253.0 MHz emergency frequency as backup.
