Hussein donation to AMSAT

During the recent visit of King Hussein of Jordan (JY1) to the US,
he contacted Dr. Thomas Clark, W3IWI President, to give his support
to the amateur radio satellite program.  As a "small contribution"
to aid the effort, he has donated the sum of $10,000 to AMSAT!

Rumor has it that while in Los Angeles, King Hussein visited Henry
Radio, Inc, to purchase Oscar equipment for his station.
