Request for references

I'm interested in seeing any references people might have on
non-textual (computer based) editing.  What I have in mind is not only
editing of line drawings, mathematical equations, tables, and other
similar components of "normal" documents (although I do want to see
references on these) but also such things as music and recorded
speech.

If people will send information directly to me, I will collect and
summarize it and forward it to the list as a whole in a week or two.
