Thank you trt!  I fully agree with your sentiments about .msgsrc files,
and .cshrc and .mailrc (what a concept!) and .exrc and.....
if you design a program, one of the responsibilities is getting
the defaults right.  .xxxrc files seem like a way to avoid the issue.
(Yes, I know about .profile's, but I'm really not too happy that we
need them.)
