readnews bug
ok, this is a subtle one:
to simplify things, let's say there are two news items waiting for you.
you read the first.  readnews now goes on to the last one.  but you
want to save a copy of the first, so you type '-'.  you get back to the
first item, type 's', and then 'n' ('cause you don't want to read it again).
you should now be facing the last item, right?  wrong.  you get a
"last article" message instead.  ok, so you quit and type readnews again
to see that last message.  surprise!  for some reason, readnews now thinks
you never saw ANY messages in the newsgroup of the first message (the one
you just saved)!  you plod through them all, and THEN come to that mysterious
last message you were looking for in the first place.  comments?
