Well, there is a fixed version of readnews that Mark and I have that
can handle continuation options lines.  Continuation lines just start
with a space or tab so it looks like:

options -n all !foo !bar !mumble
	!belch . . .

I think you only need the readnews.c, checknews.c, and a new Makefile
for this to work for you.  Get it from me or Mark.
