mhnews/readnews
In our MH implementation, mhnews is the program for reading news.
It just prints an article and waits until you hit <return> to go
on to the next article until everything is printed.  It's pretty
nasty for netnews because it vomits on non-existant articles.  That
is, it gives you a nasty error message for each expired or cancelled
article it can't find.  Besides that, the interface is only one step
above cat(1).  readnews, however, can be used to read mhnews just fine
I believe.  The only thing which may cause problems is that readnews
updates ~/.newsrc and mhnews updates ~/.mh_profile.  ~/.mh_profile
also has a bunch of other information in it that readnews will ignore.

Is this what watcgl (whatever) wants to know?
