functional languages
In addition to LISP, KRC, and FP or FFP languages, there's PROLOG.
It's sort of a functional language, based on Kowalski's procedural
interpretation of Horn clause logic.  Locally, PROLOG is being used
at Duke in constructing expert knowledge systems.
