Another thing people who want to eliminate newsgroups can do is chown
the directory for that newsgroup away from 'news'
inews tries to write into it, but can't.  It doesn't give an error message
though, and passes the article on to other systems if this should be the case.
This is no doubt an 'undocumented feature' and some comment should come from
glickman on it.
