news screw
I was just running news and had some unread net.general articles.
I had read up to article 286 and then gone to 287 but since there wasn't
any it took me to the next newsgroup net.news. I wanted to reply to 286
so I backed up with -1 and it took me back to 286. I replied with r 
and then ^D'd. It then showed the blurb line for 286 again. I q'd
out to the shell. Then I ran readnews again. Low and behold it put
me back into net.general at article 252 which was actually the first
unread article in net.news I had backed up from with the -1 a few
minutes before!

Seems like a mighty bad bug.
