Unibus Disk Controllers

I'm interested in hearing from sites that have attached non-DEC disks
to their Unibus.  Which controller did you use, how well did it work etc.
Also, specifics on what needed to be done to the VMS disk drivers.  Try
to answer in general terms; I'm not yet very familiar with VMS.  Any
problems with using the Unibus drive as a VMS system device?  I don't
need tales of the /780 UBA adaptor, since we're getting a /750, but I
would like to hear from anyone to has had /750 UBA problems.

Since I presume others are interested, I'll be happy to summarize the replies.
