lex problems
When trying to use "lex" I get all sorts of wierd results when I try to
use start states.  It appears to get into a no-man's state where it just
echos everything.  I know that lex is a famous buggy program and it serves
me right, but can anybody help?  I'm using the vanilla V7 version.
