consumer forum (sorry, this started in net.general)
My reply to the consumer forum newsgroup query was in jest.  If you
look at MANY of the consumer forum magazines (like this month's Common
Cause, or Mother Jones this past summer, for instance,) you will see
that one of their favorite targets is Ma Bell.  Both of these had cover
stories on us, this month's CC has a picture of an old lady who looks
like she has the scars of a street fight, the MJ had a woman in
bondage, representing an operator or directory assistant.  These stories
are often ludicrously misleading, using few examples to imply widespread
havoc.

I therefore got a giggle out of someone suggesting a consumer forum
newsgroup.  Randy, you mention an insurance company as the basis for
your query.  I bet that insurance companies are as deserving of having
folks rave about them as we are.

I don't actually put TPC in the same category as the envelope stuffing
companies in the communications field...
