Schedule G
I am having trouble understanding the eligibility requirements for
schedule G--income averaging.  If you have been married for 2 years
and are currently filing jointly, what are the support requirements?
Do you have to have supported yourself (50% or more) and your spouse
have to have supported his/herself for the previous 5 years?  Or is
it good enough that between the two of you, you provided 50% of your
own income, even in a year that you were not married?

Basically, the trouble I am having is in determining support in a year
when both persons were unmarried.  Can anyone clear up this matter for
me?
