I suggest that you ask your local DEC salesperson to give you, in
writing, a statement as to whether or or not you 8 1mb cards are
CURRENTLY supported in the 750.  I have seen a definitive answer
from DEC, but I am not sure that included the "CURRENTLY" qualifier.

It is not unusual for third-party vendor sales people to be confused
about things like this.

Actually, I should make this inquiry myself in a few days; I'll
forward what I find out.
