Apology re unc.1688: USENET map
Several folks have pointed out to me that my statement about the difficulty
of constructing a map is wrong.  Rather than being "np", the problem of
finding all shortest paths is only o(n**3), i.e., proportional to the
cube of the number of nodes in the net.  Even when we egghead academicians
come up with useful results, I get them wrong....  *sigh*

Oh, for a net-wide news cancel command!
