kind of composite version is: Someone complained to an Affirmative Action rep
about the "questionable" (hence the name) nature of net.jokes.q. Said AA rep
smiled a toothy smile at the folks in the HO comp center and net.jokes.q
subsequently became (as John Cleese would say) "an ex-newsgroup." I dunno how
much of this is true/BS; some versions of the story feature an MTS getting
walked to the door. Perhaps someone from HOCC can clear this up? Lotsa folks
are interested.
