Talk about dogmatic!
Some happy UNIX users have used the other systems mentioned...
Rather than get into a detailed argument, I will just state that users
seem to be happiest with the systems they are most familiar with
(witness the emphasis given in their discussions on the subject).
I happen to think that UNIX is nicely usable once one assimilates its
philosphy and way of doing business, but some other systems also have
this property.  I doubt any of them is demonstrably superior in all
respects.
