drive cutover
The cutover to our own disk drive (from the loaner we're currently using)
is postponed 24 hours.  It was originally scheduled to happen tonight
(i.e. now);  this has proved impossible because restoring filesystems
off tape is a very slow process (2 hours per fully-loaded tape on a fairly
quiet system).  Much of the time is probably going into write verifies,
but we are sufficiently suspicious of our hardware that we dare not do
without them.

Pack 0 now has a boot block, a root, and a usr, all up-to-date as of
the Tuesday partials.  Zoo is the big thing still needing attention.
The plan is to try to get that in during the afternoon, so that the
cutover can be done during a somewhat-stretched backup period, using
the regular Wednesday partials.  If zoo can't be fully read in soon
enough for this, the cutover will happen later in the evening and will
have a special set of partials done as its first stage.  All this will
necessitate tying up the magtape drive most of the day.  Sorry bout that.
