state of the Unix
A fifth DZ has been installed in the extension box.  /newunix is a Unix
configured for five DZs, plus it now incorporates the spurious-interrupt
catcher from our V6.  An attempt to bring up a 5-DZ Unix was aborted by
a mistake that the spurious-interrupt catcher would have caught, hence
its incorporation (we've never had a genuine spurious interrupt in the
whole lifetime of the catcher, but it HAS caught human errors in both
software and hardware several times).  This does not yet incorporate the
V6 arrangement whereby vectors 0 and 40 were fixed up after boot to
invoke the spurious-interrupt handler;  that will have to be reconciled
with V7's own vector-0 spurious-interrupt detector.
