we're currently testing TI's new 1MB board. Costs $7000, has EDAC, and has
been running fine for the past 4 months. The only problem is that it looks
funny to DEC memory diagnostics. (Plessy's new $5600 1MB board is also 
supposed to have this problem. TrendData's $7000 board, according to them,
does not.)
