Medicine newsgroup
   Is any body interested in a medicine newsgroup?  There has been
virtually no news of medical interest as far as I know.  I do not know
if that is because nobody is out there or if that is a matter of no
forum.  I would thus suggest that we form a newsgroup net.medicine.
Subgroups could be established in specific areas of interest.
   This is a large division of cardiology with interest in both basic
science and clinical research.  The computer here largely supports
clinical epidemiology, but special applications programs and statistics
programs are used to support a wide variety of basic and clinical
work.  We would be interested in news regarding statistical
techniques, and data base applications and software.  We are also
interested in learning who else in the medical community runs UNIX.
