sweet.  i knew taking greek for two years would pay off sooner or later.
but hey -- let's get an arpa standard greek character set if we're gonna
do this right, okay?  maybe apl's character set will work?  and, of course,
we'll all have to switch to bit-map displays or apl terminals to read
news...
