Rogue's paranoia over saved games can be blamed squarely on one
individual here at Berkeley, who shall remain nameless, who did
everything in his power to cheat on saved games, even going to
the extreme of writing a program which grabbed hundreds of
inodes in the hopes of getting the right one.  This person feels
no guilt even to this day, despite all the hassle he has caused.
