I think one reason DEC isn't keeping sources for VMS current is their
idea of binary patching rather than source-level updating, since that
is the way they apply patches to their clients' systems.  Does anyone
know whether the microfiche listings are even kept up-to-date?

By the way, I bought the $300 VMS Internals & Data Structures Manual
and recommend it.  Best to get the $150 microfiche if you can use it.
