Before jumping up and down on Harry Stine for the hype on the cover
of "Space Power", it is worth remembering that authors have NO SAY
in what goes on the covers of their books.  They neither write it nor
approve it.  Same goes for the artwork.  Covers (and frontispiece
blurbs, to which the same comments apply) are assembled by the publisher
and should be treated as what they are: advertising for the book.
Don't blame the author!
