where is the news?
why is it that while the heaviest news subscribers are away we have no
polling of the net?  we are constantly reminded that this is a users'
system, so it couldn't be that the average user is deemed unimportant
in regards to receiving news.  it also couldn't be that no one considered
the inconvenience to users who will be faced with a "too many articles"
message when they finally get some news.  and i am sure it was just an
oversight that no mention of the news cutoff was broadcast in the news.
could it be that we are paying fone bills, buying more hardware and filling
up the disk just so a few people can have the luxury of a net connection?
nah, that just couldn't be the answer either.  hmmm, i wonder then, why?
this isn't a gripe.  if it was, i would have sent it to the appropriate
newsgroup--i am just wondering......
