Old problem?
Somewhere along the path from ARPAVAX to here is running a version of
news that looses first lines.    I believe that this was a bug in an
early test release of "B" news, wasn't it?  The shortest path I've seen
with this problem was "duke!chico!harpo!mhtsa!ihnss!ucbvax!ARPAVAX".
"duke","ucbvax", and "ARPAVAX" are probably clear.  Can anyone find out
where the problem is really located?
