Not to further fan verbal flames, but someone mentioned Marie
Antoinette's famous remark. I recently read (sorry, I don't
recall where), that the "cake" to which she refers is *not*
pastry, but the burned bread which had spilled in the bakers'
ovens. [This info is for the trivia-lovers out there.]

I love this newsgroup and I read them all, but I'd like to see
more non-meat (egg/dairy OK) recipes, especially *HOT* dishes!!
