I imagine that unix-wizards is getting kind of tired of this, but I couldn't
let that comment about :nc: go by unchallenged.

The adm3a does NOT have nc.  What you are thinking of is the SPOW (space
overwrite) glitch.  This glitch says that between a cr and lf, space is
nondestructive.  I have never seen a terminal that has this that doesn't
have a way to turn it off, and the adm3a is no exception.  You open it up
and there is an SPOW switch you should turn off.  (I have never seen anyone
explain why they would want a terminal in this mode.)
