Faster PACMAN for VAX
We (Cornell) are modifying the PACMAN program to use the fast-interval timer
(see recent note to net.sources) and 4.1BSD's non-blocking reads.  The
anticipation is that this will immensely improve response and even allow
other people to use the machine.  When it's ready (less than a week from
now) we'll announce it to net.games.  Hopefully, we'll be able to put the
source on decvax and maybe ucbvax so that people can get it easily.
