whittle 'ol wish list
Since most users (???) specify "all" initially for a newsgroup
subscription list, then start whittling down the list after viewing
the latest newsgroup additions, woudln't it be nice if you could
merely prepend a "!" to the newsgroup history information as in:

	!net.cooks: 1-16
	!net.auto.all: 1-25

Even though you may have looked at a newsgroup once, this would
provide a quick way to trash a group, and yet still be able to read
a legible list. Constantly revising "options ..." is a p.i.t.a. for
numerous (and ever expanding) groups, especially since "options"
arguments may only appear in one, long, ugly, cryptic, verbose,
run-on line!!!
