locked-up news system
getting the "News system locked up" message is becoming increasingly more
annoying (i admit that may be a function of my crankiness but it IS a real
pain to have to startup again later and figure out where you left off).
i am almost ready to un-subscribe just to reduce the amount of anger
and frustration the above-mentioned message generates.  is it REALLY
necessary to poll news during working hours?
