i think there should be a print wheel for the xerox diablo which 
will do <, > symbols, since  so many users need these symbols for 
reporting the results of statistical tests.
this brings me to my other gripe - documentation- - or rather, 
the lack of it. general users should not have to bother experienced users 
or system hacks so often to find out about marvellous ed commands or 
other functions. i even had to ask someone how to gripe!  there should be 
complete HARDCOPY documentation on all these things. This would save time 
for both users and hacks in the long run.
